Grisel Hinds
Grisel has been artistically blessed since childhood. Her mother being an artist and a stylist in her youth, decided to start her in private oil painting lessons at the age of 8. From there, grew her passion and love for art.
Understanding and having an eye for color as well as caputauring negative and postive space, its components were very useful for understanding line, symmetry and disconnection in hair cutting.
At age 15, Grisel wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps in becoming a stylist herself after seeing her mother create and mold such beauty with hair. Grisel wanted to incorporate her artistry with hair and its chemistry. Grisel graduated from Roman Beauty School at the age of 16, and began her journey.
Through the years, many doors were opened. Grisel was hired with L'Oreal Professional and was trained as a color and cutting educator where she studied and taught other professionals throughout the nation. Grisel resigned with L'Oreal professional after 9 years to cultivate her own indiviudal style. She was invited in 2009 to run the model styling room for fashion week in South Miami Beach. Gaining continual experience working and sharing with amazing artists in her journey, Grisel brings the love and beauty of her personal touch to Moda Hair Design for all to enjoy!
